Todd Hall

Todd Hall’s journey in ballet began in Rhode Island, where a ten-year-old boy walked into Festival Ballet and discovered a world he never wanted to leave. What started as curiosity quickly grew into a calling, leading him to some of the most respected training grounds in the country. Todd continued his studies at the School of American Ballet in New York City—immersed in the tradition of Balanchine—before expanding his training at the Chicago Joffrey Ballet School and the Boston Ballet School.

As his artistry deepened, so did the opportunities. Todd went on to perform with the Boston Ballet, the Washington Ballet, and numerous companies across the United States. His career carried him into the spotlight as a principal guest artist, where he became known for bringing both technical clarity and emotional depth to roles such as Albrecht in Giselle, the Prince in Swan Lake, the Cavalier in The Nutcracker, and the ever-charming Franz in Coppélia. Each role added a new layer to his craft and further defined his presence on stage.

During his years dancing in Boston, Todd also pursued his academic interests, earning a master’s degree from Emerson College—a testament to his belief that a well-rounded artist is always learning.

Today, Todd shares his experience and passion with the next generation of dancers.

He teaches ballet technique and pas de deux, and his choreography has reached studios and stages from Alaska to the East Coast, as well as across Europe and the Middle East.

Whether he is shaping a performance or guiding a young dancer through a difficult variation, Todd brings the same sense of dedication and wonder that first drew him to ballet as a child.
