Our Mission
...is to be a model of artistic integrity, musical excellence, community involvement and most importantly, soul enrichment.
MCPA brings internationally acclaimed artists to perform in some of the most beloved operas and world-class performances, to become a cultural touchstone for the community, and to generate a powerful impact for our community, fostering and co-authoring collaborations and programs to achieve a meaningful emotional engagement. We contribute to the civic and cultural life of our region, and amplify the contributions and insights of our peers, colleagues, and partners.
We are unapologetically passionate about the art of live performances, and are energized by its roots as the people’s art form. We believe in its future. We continue the timeless tradition of storytelling, we celebrate the universal language of music, with its timeless classical styles like Baroque, Bel Canto and Verismo, and we honor the brilliance of the human voice.

About Us
The Agliatas are the owners and founders of Mostly Classical Performing Arts. William and Caterina have been inseparable for almost 3 decades, sharing their love for life and music through joys and hardships. Both were raised in Rome, Italy, in rich artistic and cultural backgrounds, during times when there were not many distractions. They built their lives in Rome at first, receiving their formal education in music, ballet and drama and starting their professional careers. They later moved to NYC where they resided for almost two decades, working, performing and furthering their artistic education.
They are avid researchers of the vocal, physical and mechanical techniques that make performing effortless while assuring the continued health of the artist. And they are entirely devoted to their art.
Our Logo
MCPA's logo is in fact a modern rendition of the ancient Agliata Family's Coat of Arms. In its traditional form, it is described as follows: gold, with three black poles. The shield attached to the double-headed eagle spread out in black, limbed, beaked and surmounted by the golden imperial crown.
The Agliata Family is an ancient and very noble family from the Kingdom of Sicily with family branches spread in Tuscany adorned with countless noble titles. Tradition has it that this family descends from the Allia or Ellia people, from the time of the Roman republic, who, having had Zecchieri, stamped their name on the coins. There are memories of a Dazio, Lord of Angleria, and much later of the Agliata lords of Candia, at the time of Emperor Constantine. The family went from Milan to Pisa due to disagreements with the Lavelli and Abaguzzani families. They passed to Sicily in 1300 from Pisa, where they were one of the first families. They enjoyed nobility in the cities of Milan, Palermo, Pisa, Noto, and in Greece. They were received in the order of Malta in 1530. There are also monuments of it in Palermo in the churches of S. Francesco, S. Maria di Gesù, S. Francesco di Paola and the Reformed ones. They had many Baronies including those of Castellammare del Golfo, Conforto, Corvitello and others.
